How do I pay for my services?

Payment for your service is made by the credit card you register with the agency.  Your account is debited in the week following the service and is based on receipt of your cleaner’s confirmed hours worked.  You only pay for the time your cleaner is in your home.

How do I obtain a price and make a booking?

You can either fill in our “Request an Estimate” form or call one of our Customer Service Officers who will be able to help you immediately.

Does your Hospitality Service work in a similar way to the Regular Household Cleaning?

Basically, yes.  There are still a minimum number of hours and our team members are there to help you whilst entertaining.  Talk to our friendly Agency staff for further information.

What if I am not happy with my cleaner for any reason?

Satisfaction is what we strive for and we do encourage our clients to contact us if they experience any problems.  If you are unhappy for any reason, just call or email us.  We will respond to any issues you may have immediately.

Does the cleaner have insurance cover?

All cleaners placed through Flying Domestics are covered for Public Liability and Workers’ Compensation Insurance.

Do you vet the cleaners?

All the cleaners are interviewed face to face by our Flying Domestics team. Relevant ID checks are carried out, references are checked and Police Clearance documentation held on file.

Are the cleaners experienced?

All agency introduced cleaners undergo an extensive induction at Flying Domestics.  Most cleaners have previous cleaning experience.

Will I get the same cleaner every service?

Yes, for a regular service you will get the same dedicated cleaner. That way you will know exactly who is coming into your home and your cleaner will be able to work out a routine based on your requirements.

How quickly can you find me a cleaner?

We aim to place an experienced cleaner with you within seven days.  This however, will vary depending on your location and flexibility of your service day.  Often clients can receive service within 48 hours.

What happens if I want to change my service?

Easily done – simply liaise directly with your cleaner or contact the Agency and we will make the required amendment to your service and advise your cleaner of the change.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No, Flying Domestics does not require you to sign a contract.  This service is provided in good faith and you are free to leave and return at any time.

How will the cleaner get into my home if I am not able to be there?

Many of our clients prefer to give a set of keys to their trusted cleaner.  If you are unable to meet your cleaner on the first visit, then you can liaise directly with her to arrange access into your home.  Alternatively you can arrange a third party to meet her, or she may be able to meet you over a weekend or one evening.  The Agency will be happy to help you arrange this if necessary.

Do I need to provide cleaning supplies and equipment?

Yes, Flying Domestics provides the cleaner only. Our clients provide all products and equipment as this prevents cross-contamination between homes.  We will provide you with a list of basic cleaning equipment that will enable your cleaner to achieve excellent results.

Do you have a minimum number of hours?

We are able to recommend the hours required for a home cleaning service based on the information provided by yourselves.  The minimum number of hours is 3,  although the hourly rate is slightly higher for a shorter clean.

What tasks can I expect my cleaner to do?

The usual vacuuming, dusting and mopping as well as cleaning of the kitchen, bathroom and toilets.  By having a dedicated cleaner you will be able to tailor the service to your specific needs.
